RN - PCU

Registered Nurse - Progressive Care Unit Location

Cleveland, OH

This is a 13-week contract position.

Night shift, 3-12 hour shifts, 7:00 PM - 7:30 AM

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Registered Nurse to join our Progressive Care Unit (PCU). This role requires strong clinical skills and the ability to manage patients with complex medical needs. Candidates should be committed to providing exceptional patient care and collaborating in a fast‑paced environment.

• Provide direct patient care to individuals in the PCU.
• Monitor patient conditions and administer medications as needed.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement patient care plans.
• Assist with personal care and education for patients and their families.
• Document all patient care activities accurately and timely within the electronic health records system.

• Minimum of 18 months permanent experience in PCU/Stepdown.
• Active Ohio RN license or compact state license.
• BLS and ACLS certifications required.
• Successful completion of ECG rhythm recognition and safe Medicate assessments during orientation.
