CHC is a non-profit social service agency in the Akron area whose mission is to treat, inspire, support and empower individuals and families impacted by the disease of addiction.

CHC has been a critical part of Ohio’s efforts to treat and prevent substance use disorders since 1974.

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced RN Supervisor to join our healthcare team in Akron, OH. The RN Supervisor will oversee nursing staff, ensure high-quality patient care, and support the implementation of clinical policies and procedures. This role requires strong leadership skills and a commitment to fostering a positive and efficient work environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Supervise and coordinate daily activities of nursing staff to ensure optimal patient care.
  • Provide guidance, training, and support to registered nurses and other clinical personnel.
  • Monitor compliance with healthcare regulations, policies, and standards.
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement patient care plans.
  • Assist in staffing, scheduling, and performance evaluations of nursing staff.
  • Address and resolve patient and staff concerns promptly and professionally.
  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation related to nursing activities and patient care.
Minimum Requirements

Nursing Degree with two years clinical experience, current Ohio RN license, supervisory experience and skills, experience with substance abuse/chemically dependent patients. Demonstrates the ability to suggest or recommend persons for hire, fire, advancement, promotion or other changes in status.
