Interventional Radiology Nurse

Part‑Time, 24 Hours/Week Day Shift Onsite Summary

Assesses, plans, implements, evaluates, and directs care for Interventional Radiology patients with a family‑centered focus. Scrubs, circulates, and assists with Interventional Radiology cases. Participates in Nursing and department PI activities. Serves as a resource for clinical problem solving for the Interventional Radiology staff, students and other healthcare providers. Uses knowledge and experience as a basis to provide patient care information for patients and families.

Represents Interventional Radiology on various committees. Rotates call duty 24/7 after orientation.

• Evaluate and direct care for Interventional Radiology patients.
• Serve as a resource for clinical problem solving for the Interventional Radiology staff.
• Represent Interventional Radiology on various committees.
• Other duties as required.

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing and currently licensed as a registered nurse in the state of Ohio.
• Strong communication (verbal and written), interpersonal and time management skills required.
• Experience working with all levels within an organization is preferred.
• Experience in healthcare is preferred.
• Proficiency in MS Office [Outlook, Excel, Word] or similar software is required.
• Possesses excellent assessment and rapid intervention skills for the Interventional Radiology patient that may decompensate during the exam.
