The PRN RN position in the Surgical Intensive Care (SICU) and Medical Intensive Care (MICU) Units at Cleveland Clinic Akron General Hospital involves providing comprehensive critical medical support to diverse patient populations. • Pay: $43.00/hour
• Location: Akron, OH
• Facility: Cleveland Clinic Akron General Hospital
• Schedule: Per Diem, Variable shifts

• Provide direct nursing care.
• Implement and monitor patient care plans.
• Monitor, record, and communicate patients’ conditions.
• Note and carry out physician and nursing orders.
• Assess and coordinate patients’ discharge needs.

• Graduate from an accredited school of professional nursing (ADN or BSN program) required.

• 2 years of recent experience in an acute care setting required for external applicants.
• Internal applicants with less than 2 years’ experience may be considered with approval.

• Current state licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN).
• Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification required.
• Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification required within the first year of employment.
