Hours: 8 hrs/wk (every other weekend)

Summary of Position

In accordance with the mission and values of The Village of St. Edward, the STNA provides for the personal care needs of residents and provides assistance and activities as delegated by the nurse.

Qualifications and Requirements
  • Ohio State Tested Nursing Assistant (STNA) certification.
  • High school education or equivalent.
  • Experience with in SNF preferred.
  • Reliable transportation.
  • Pass pre‑employment physical.
  • Ability to work weekend/holiday rotation.
  • Ability to lift 50 pounds independently and over 50 pounds with assistance.
  • Dexterity to feed, bathe, etc.
  • Ability to bend, stoop, and reach at different angles.
  • Ability to walk, stand, sit intermittently throughout the day.
  • Understanding of infection control performance.
  • Proficient in therapeutic communication.
  • Professional and empathetic communication with residents, families, visitors, and coworkers.
