About This Role
The PRN Experienced RN in Labor & Delivery/Perinatal at Cleveland Clinic Akron General Hospital provides essential nursing care to patients, working collaboratively with a team of healthcare professionals to ensure a warm and welcoming experience for families.
Highlights- Pay: $43.00/hour
- Location: Akron, OH
- Facility: Cleveland Clinic Akron General Hospital
- Department/Unit: Labor & Delivery/Perinatal
- Schedule: Per Diem, Night shift
- Provide direct nursing care.
- Implement and monitor patient care plans.
- Monitor, record, and communicate patients’ conditions.
- Serve as a primary coordinator of all disciplines for well‑coordinated patient care.
- Note and carry out physician and nursing orders.
- Assess and coordinate patients’ discharge needs.
- Graduate from an accredited school of professional nursing (ADN or BSN program) required.
- Bachelor of science in nursing (BSN) preferred.
- 2+ years of recent experience in an acute care setting for external applicants.
- Internal applicants with less than two years’ experience may be considered with approval.
- Current state licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN).
- Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification through the American Heart Association (AHA) or American Red Cross required.
