• Interview, hire, and train staff; provide input into performance evaluations.
• Make personnel action recommendations (e.g., promotions, transfers).
• Provide direction and support to unit staff; supervise admissions and nursing care plans.
• Evaluate and document patient progress.
• Facilitate planning, implementation, development, and evaluation of nursing programs.
• Assist with policy and procedure development for effective health service delivery.
• Identify and resolve issues affecting patient care services.
• Prepare work assignment schedules to ensure adequate coverage.
• Participate in quality improvement projects and research initiatives.
• Assist with continuing education and in-service programs for caregivers.

• Bachelor's degree in nursing required
• Graduated from an accredited school of professional nursing

• 2 years of recent clinical nurse experience in mother/baby or OB setting required

• Current RN License in Ohio
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required
• Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification required upon hire or within one year
• Completion of Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) within six months of hire
