Director, Inpatient Nursing OPS/ACNO (Job )

Assists the Vice President, CNO in planning, organizing, directing and evaluating patient care services. Establishes evidence-based goals and objectives, standards of performance, programs, policies and procedures and interprets standards and regulations to personnel, patients, medical staff and community members.

  Education Required:
  • BSN with Masters Degree in business, healthcare, or other related field or MSN required
  • Certification in Medical/Surgical Nursing, Certified in Critical Care (CCRN), or Certified Clinical Nurse Specialist (CCNS) required
  • Certification in Nursing Administration preferred or required within two years of hire
  • Current license to practice nursing in the State of Ohio
• Experience and Training
  
  Required:
  • Five (5) years related clinical/professional experience in Medical Surgical or Telemetry required. Experience in Critical Care nursing optional.
  • Five (5) years in an administrative or clinical nursing leadership role within an acute care setting required
