American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for a Med/Surg Tele night shift position requiring 18 months of recent Med/Surg Telemetry experience and an active Ohio or compact RN license.

• Work in the Med/Surg Tele unit of a hospital setting
• Night shift schedule with 3x12 hour shifts, 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM
• 13-20 week contract options available

• Active RN license (Ohio or Compact) currently in hand
• Current certifications: BLS and ACLS required, NIHSS preferred
• Minimum of 18 months recent permanent Med/Surg Telemetry experience required
• One professional reference from a manager, ANM, supervisor, or director in the specialty required, from an assignment worked within the past 12 months
• Must be able to complete BCI/FBI fingerprinting within 48 hours of signing contract

• Provide nursing care to Med/Surg Telemetry patients
• ECG rhythm recognition and safe Medicate assessments completed during orientation, with up to 2 attempts allowed to pass
• PBDS assessment is waived for this position
• Nurses are exempt from the facility's nicotine-free requirement
• Locals accepted at the same bill rate
• Permanent and per diem candidates cannot return to this health system for 1 year from their previous end date
• Assignments capped at 18 consecutive months, with a required 6-month break before returning unless client-approved
