Staff Nurse - Neurology

Role:

Provides specialized nursing care with a focus on family-centered, patient-centered, and evidence-based practices.

• Assess, plan, implement, evaluate, and direct nursing care within scope of practice.
• Deliver physical, psychosocial, educational, and safety care for patients of all ages and developmental stages.
• Perform leadership, mentorship, and professional duties, including staff education and precepting new employees.
• Ensure quality improvement, safety, and systems-based practices are upheld.
• Collaborate with provider staff to promote efficient operation, high-quality care, and exceptional customer service.
• Utilize informatics and technology effectively, including electronic medical records.
• Participate in organizational-wide assignments based on patient needs.
• Perform other duties as required.

• Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
• Ability to work under pressure and prioritize tasks accurately.
• Experience working with diverse organizational levels; healthcare experience preferred.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office; EMR experience preferred.
• Current RN license in Ohio, BLS certification, and a BSN (or obtaining within 5 years).
• Minimum of one year of relevant experience preferred.
