Join Cleveland Clinic Akron General Hospital as an Experienced RN in the Surgical ICU/Medical ICU, providing critical care to diverse patient populations. This role is ideal for nurses looking to enhance their critical care skills while ensuring patient comfort and safety.

• Location: Akron, OH
• Facility: Cleveland Clinic Akron General Hospital
• Schedule: Full-time, Night shift (7p-7a)

• Provide direct nursing care to patients in the ICU.
• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate care for a given patient population.
• Complete ongoing assessments and respond to changes in patient condition.
• Develop and update care goals, involving patients and families in care plans.
• Coordinate the interdisciplinary plan of care and advocate for patients.
• Administer treatments and medications, and document care provided.
• Participate in interdisciplinary evaluations of patient outcomes and quality improvement.
• Delegate tasks and serve as a resource for team members.
• Review and document progress and discharge goals with patients and families.
• Communicate patient care information during shift reports.

• Education:
  • Graduate from an accredited School of Professional Nursing (Diploma, ADN, or BSN program)
• Experience:
  • 1 year of current ICU or acute care RN experience in a hospital setting
• Licenses &
  
  Certifications:
  
  
  • Current RN License in Ohio
  • BLS certification required upon hire
  • ACLS certification required within one year of hire
  • TCAR certification required within 24 months of hire
