  Full-time, Day shift (8:00 a.m.
  
  - 6:30 p.m.)

• Provide direct nursing care to patients.
• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate care for a given patient population.
• Complete ongoing assessments and recognize changes in patient condition.
• Develop and update goals, involving patients and families in care plans.
• Provide nursing care, administer treatments and medications, and document accordingly.
• Participate in ongoing interdisciplinary evaluation of patient/family outcomes.
• Delegate tasks and serve as a resource person/mentor.
• Plan for patient care utilizing patient-specific information and preference sheets.
• Assist in collecting and preparing equipment, instruments, sutures, and implants.
• Ensure surgical specimens are handled correctly by accurate identification.

Education:

• Graduate from an accredited school of professional nursing (ADN or BSN program) required
• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred

Experience:

• Experience in a clinical setting preferred

Licenses &

Certifications:

• Current state licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN)
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required
• Successfully complete mandatory clinical competencies annually
