RN - Inpatient Behavioral Health

About This Role

As an RN Resident in the Inpatient Behavioral Health unit, you will deliver compassionate care to patients experiencing behavioral health crises while gaining valuable skills in crisis intervention and therapeutic rapport. This role is ideal for new graduates looking to make a difference in patient care.

  Full-time, Night shift (7p-7a)

• Participate in a residency core curriculum based on individual learning needs.
• Provide direct nursing care alongside a success coach.
• Establish and/or revise priorities for patient care.
• Respond to data indicating risk to patients' health and initiate corrective actions.
• Seek supervision, consultation, and assistance when necessary.
• Document in patients' medical records.

Education:

• Graduate from an accredited School of Professional Nursing (Diploma, ADN or BSN program) required.

Experience:

• New graduate RN or less than one year of RN work experience required.

Licenses &

Certifications:

• Current state licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN).
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification through the American Heart Association (AHA) or American Red Cross required.
• Bachelor's of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred.
