• Pay: $43 - $43/hour
• Location: Akron, OH
• Facility: Cleveland Clinic Akron General Hospital
• Department/Unit: 8100 Family Practice Unit
• Schedule: Per Diem, Day shift

• Provide direct nursing care.
• Implement and monitor patient care plans.
• Serve as a primary coordinator of all disciplines for well-coordinated patient care.
• Monitor, record, and communicate patients’ conditions.
• Note and carry out physician and nursing orders.
• Assess and coordinate patients’ discharge needs.
• Maintain professional growth and development through ongoing education and clinical nursing study.

Education:

• Graduate from an accredited school of Professional Nursing (Diploma, ADN, or BSN program) required
• BSN preferred

Experience:

• 2+ years of recent related nursing experience for external applicants
• Less than 2 years of experience for internal applicants, with post-orientation/90-day probationary period considered

Licenses &

Certifications:

• Current state licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN)
• Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification through the American Heart Association (AHA) or American Red Cross
