Emergency Veterinary Clinical SupervisorProposed
Schedule:
Sunday–Tuesday, Thursday 6a–4:30p
Compensation: $26.50–36.00/hr based on experience.
What you’ll do- Escalate issues to Clinical Manager
- Function as a scheduled Clinical Services team member within department(s)
- Collaborate with other departments regarding patient and client needs
- Prioritize and organize workflows for shift
- Directly manage Clinical Services team members while on shift, including:
- Managing early call‑ins, early departures, call‑offs, sharing of resources, breaks and lunches for team members
- Assigning team member responsibilities per shift
- Addressing process or employee issues during their shift
- Communicating schedule changes, performance concerns and shift issues to the Clinical Manager routinely
- Serving as first‑level responder to client concerns and drug escalations
- Training and mentoring new team members
- Providing input to Clinical Manager on team member performance evaluations
- Participate in on‑call responsibilities
- Participate in management or administrative meetings routinely
- Strong communication skills
- Prior veterinary experience required, previous emergency experience desired
- Proficient in calculations (drugs, constant rate infusions, unit conversions, etc.)
- Flexibility with work hours and ability to work additional hours when necessary
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast‑paced environment
