Emergency Veterinary Clinical Supervisor

Med Vet is a fast‑growing Emergency and Specialty provider with practices nationwide. We help our patients receive advanced medical treatments and innovations. Things like chemotherapy and radiation, cardiac ablations, treatments for glaucoma, physical rehabilitation, dermatology and so much more! We are looking for collaborative and driven people to join our clinical team.

Schedule:

Sunday–Tuesday, Thursday 6a–4:30p

Compensation: $26.50–36.00/hr based on experience.

• Escalate issues to Clinical Manager
• Function as a scheduled Clinical Services team member within department(s)
• Collaborate with other departments regarding patient and client needs
• Prioritize and organize workflows for shift
• Directly manage Clinical Services team members while on shift, including:
  • Managing early call‑ins, early departures, call‑offs, sharing of resources, breaks and lunches for team members
  • Assigning team member responsibilities per shift
  • Addressing process or employee issues during their shift
  • Communicating schedule changes, performance concerns and shift issues to the Clinical Manager routinely
  • Serving as first‑level responder to client concerns and drug escalations
  • Training and mentoring new team members
  • Providing input to Clinical Manager on team member performance evaluations
• Participate in on‑call responsibilities
• Participate in management or administrative meetings routinely

• Strong communication skills
• Prior veterinary experience required, previous emergency experience desired
• Proficient in calculations (drugs, constant rate infusions, unit conversions, etc.)
• Flexibility with work hours and ability to work additional hours when necessary
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast‑paced environment
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
