Practice / Hospital / Referral Centre InformationJoin a 24-hour emergency and referral specialty hospital offering services in Emergency Medicine, Anesthesiology & Analgesia, Internal Medicine, Neurology & Neurosurgery, Oncology, Rehabilitation & Acupuncture, and Surgery. Med Vet Akron is a VECCS Level II Emergency Facility and is in the process of expanding its facility, doubling its size to accommodate further growth. The hospital is fully equipped with advanced diagnostic imaging, including an MRI and CT scanner, and has an on-site board-certified radiologist and Hospitalist.
DepartmentsYou will be part of the growing Critical Care department, working closely with the Emergency and specialty services to provide comprehensive care to patients in a collaborative, fast-paced environment.

The role includes mentoring the next generation of veterinary professionals.
Qualifications RequiredCandidates must hold either ACVIM Critical Care certification from the American College of Veterinary Internal Medicine or ECVIM Critical Care certification from the European College of Veterinary Internal Medicine.
