Literature Librarian

The Literature Librarian will be responsible for managing and organizing the literature collection at our library in Akron You will work closely with the library staff to ensure that the collection is up-to-date relevant and easily accessible to patrons As a literature expert you will also assist patrons with research and provide recommendations for reading materials This position requires strong organizational and communication skills as well as a passion for literature and the ability to work independently This is a part-time position with a salary of $1300 per month.

• Manage and organize the literature collection at the library
• Assist patrons with research and provide recommendations for reading materials
• Collaborate with library staff to ensure an up-to-date and relevant collection
• Maintain accurate records of books magazines journals and other materials in the collection
• Develop and implement programs or events related to literature for the community
• Stay informed on current trends in literature and make recommendations for new acquisitions

• Bachelors degree in Literature or related field
• Previous experience working in a library setting preferred
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
• Excellent communication skills both written and verbal
• Passion for literature and knowledge of different genres
• Ability to work independently as well as collaborate with others

This position is open to both Africans and Kenyans No English proficiency required Previous experience is preferred but not required
