Executive Chef

No supervisory duties are included in this position.

• Some food preparation and/or food service experience.

• Ability to prepare and/or serve food and beverages.
• Ability to develop and maintain awareness of occupational hazards and safety precautions; skilled in following safety practices and recognizing hazards.
• Knowledge and ability to perform required role during emergency situations.

Provide informal and fast-food services. Maintain a high standard of customer service and professional communication with members and guests. Maintain cleanliness. Ensure that budgeted food, labor, supply, and other cost goals are maintained.

• Provide food and beverage service according to the club’s standards.
• Maintain cleanliness of production and service equipment and of production, storeroom, service and other areas.
• Ensure foods are held at safe storage temperatures.
• Prep food during off-peak periods, as needed.
• Requisition supplies from club’s kitchen and storeroom when needed.
• Comply with applicable health, alcoholic beverage, fire and other laws and requirements.
• Consistently complies with the club’s policies and procedures for the service of alcoholic beverages to members and guests.
• Suggests menu additions based on member and guest requests.
• Completes other appropriate assignments requested by the Executive Chef.

• Food safety certification.
• Alcoholic beverage certification.

• Required to stand for long periods and walk, climb stairs, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, bend, stretch and twist or reach.
• Push, pull or lift up to 50 pounds.
• Continuous repetitive motions.
• Work in hot, humid and noisy environment.
