Responsible for the timely keying and editing of re-buy orders, manage vendor correspondence related to order delivery, assist with monthly buyouts and ensure flexible fulfillment settings are in place in order to achieve increased sales and inventory turn in accordance with company sales goals.
** KEY RESPONSIBILTIES**:
* Ensuring the keying and timely receipt of all assembly and complete purchase orders in order to meet store level unit plans, sales, and inventory turn
* Cutting, canceling, or changing vendor purchase orders for replenished or test merchandise for store or e-commerce channels within a banner
* Follow-up on open purchase orders to ensure receipt on scheduled delivery dates. Maintain all vendor purchase order files
* Send monthly projections to vendors as well as open order reports requesting shipping information
* Support Memo Conversion (SKU Buyuot) process by updating SKU Ownership flag as well as cancelling open orders and replacing once conversion complete—keeping vendors and appropriate cross functional teams informed when challenges surface
* Designate appropriate FSP (fulfillment service provider) for all new SKUs and update Flexible fulfillment settings as needed throughout product life cycle
** POSITION

QUALIFICATIONS:

*** High School Diploma required.  Some college or degree preferred.
* 2+ years of related work experience, retail industry preferred
* Strong analytical skills and attention to detail, excellent problem solving skills as well as excellent communication skills
* PC skills, including Microsoft Excel, Outlook and Word. Business Objects, IMS and Access for use in problem solving, reporting and presentations
* Ability to work independently and handle multiple projects simultaneously and proficiently while maintaining accuracy and organization
* Ability to prioritize responsibilities to maximize productivity while working in a fast paced environment.
