Job Overview

Retail Display Installer – Technology.

Work Location:

Market - SS - OH - Akron. Travel up to 90 miles from home, average.

Schedule:

Monday–Friday, weekends not required. Compensation: $16.25 per hour, next‑day pay on demand with Daily Pay, paid drive time and mileage reimbursement. Responsibilities include installing and updating sales floor fixtures, end caps, performing buildouts, resets, display repairs, following plan‑o‑grams, client instructions. Training is paid and flexible with self‑scheduling options. Minimum 20 hours fieldwork within a rolling 30‑day period.

Key Responsibilities
  • Respond to and maintain consistent communication with field services management within 24 hours.
  • Keep availability updated and accurate.
  • Fully complete all assigned jobs on or before scheduled end dates.
  • Install and build displays, end caps, and fixtures.
  • Complete necessary forms/images/surveys for each job.
  • Maintain and update displays according to planograms/client requests.
  • Conduct break‑fix repairs to ensure displays and fixtures are functional.
  • Participate in early morning installations and installations involving a team of 2+ people.
  • Manage virtual software and ensure successful execution of related tasks and timelines.
  • Assist other team members as needed.
  • Adhere to timelines associated with accurate timecard submission; report anomalies daily.
  • Work independently in a fast‑paced environment.
  • Participate in training and certification programs.
  • Track, record, and communicate activity via designated systems/workflows.
  • Be available for weekend assignments as needed.
  • Schedule/plan: hours and locations may vary week to week; early morning and holiday availability as required.
  • Accept and schedule all assigned jobs within 48 hours of receipt.
  • Follow all directives and execute fully and completely.
  • Work closely within the shared services team; identify opportunities for improvement.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships within the shared services team, local and regional markets, clients, retailers, and stakeholders.
  • Represent the company with professionalism, effective communication, and strong leadership abilities.
  • Ensure customer and client satisfaction meets shared service field KPIs.
Qualifications
  • Age 18 or older; authorized to work in the United States.
  • Flexible availability Monday through Friday, with weekend and holiday availability as needed and early morning/late‑night availability as required.
  • Maintain a minimum of 20 hours of fieldwork within a rolling 30‑day period.
  • Climbing ladder up to 10 feet; safely lift/carry up to 60 lbs; ability to kneel, walk, crouch, bend over, handle/grasp, and reach overhead.
  • Adaptable; adjust to changing tasks and work environments.
  • Effective communication via phone, text, email; respond within 24 hours.
  • Use a smartphone for clocking, uploading photos, downloading applications, connecting to internet.
  • High school diploma or equivalent; prior retail/merchandising experience desirable.
  • Experience:

    installation and merchandising experience; proficiency with hand and power tools; ability to follow planogram directives.
  • Own Android or Apple mobile device for data upload; navigate communication platforms independently.
  • Complete all training assignments within designated time frames.
  • Reliable transportation, valid driver’s license, proof of insurance; willing to travel up to 90 miles per assignment.
  • Superior leadership skills; strong professional communication and presentation skills; sound judgment, problem solving; autonomous work with time management and reporting.
