About the RoleAs Surgere continues to grow and serve additional OEMs, we are excited to hire for this important and exciting role. OEMs want to connect their supply chain to see and manage assets as they move though the network. The Account Executive who secures this role will be a critical member of our team. Organization skills, hard work, persistence, and the ability to advance, progress and close new business will be essential to success in this role.
GeneralResponsibility
Responsible for maintaining and growing sales and customer engagement efforts for new and existing customers defined as suppliers or Tier 1’s primarily in the automotive industry. Additional responsibilities will be with new business development opportunities in multiple market vertical segments such as general manufacturing, logistics, food/beverage, etc. Responsible for selling the Surgere Interius and Sophia AI Software Suite as well as other custom engineered initiatives.
Job Duties- Implements sales campaigns to expand Surgere’s customer portfolio, with a focus in the automotive industry.
- Pursues and develops new opportunities, and expansion opportunities at assigned customer accounts.
- Establish strategic, productive and professional relationships with key decision makers.
- Lead high-level discussions at the corporate level of the Account.
- Identify needs of clients and create sales strategy to meet those needs.
- Collaborate with internal resources to plan at account level pricing strategy, analytics, business review prep & presentation.
- Lead solution development efforts that best address client needs, while coordinating the involvement with internal functional departments.
- Negotiate and close sales opportunities through a consultative sales methods.
- Meet assigned sales targets for profitable sales volume and meet corporate strategic objectives.
- Communicate with strategic customers on a regular basis and respond to specific inquiries.
- Maintain the accuracy and integrity of sales data and information via our CRM.
- Prepare weekly, monthly, quarterly and annual reports and forecasts.
- Make 100% of Surgere customers a “Raving Fans”.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
- Minimum 3 years of direct B2B sales experience.
- Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience preferred.
- Must excel working in a team atmosphere with multiple functional departments to achieve successful results.
- Must have strong sense of urgency and good time management skills
- Must have good software, technical and engineering acumen.
- Experience in solution-based selling a plus.
- Demonstrated excellent verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills are required.
- Excellent stakeholder management skills.
- Proven ability to negotiate.
- Demonstrated experience with implementation of business development strategy.
- Must be self-motivated and able to adapt to a rapidly changing environment.
- Experience working to and exceeding targets.
- Excellent customer service skills are required.
