At Wayne Homes, a New Home Consultant helps customers understand their home needs and guides them to the best floor plan and customization options. You will work full‑time, including weekends, and have two consecutive days off during the week. Model Home Centers are closed on most major holidays.

As the first impression for most customers, your role requires a natural, positive, well‑organized, and helpful demeanor. Your day‑to‑day responsibilities include:

• Generate sales to meet sales goals.
• Maintain thorough notes and updates in the sales system about your customers.
• Conduct customer meetings—either in person or virtually—with a comfortable use of your computer camera.
• Effectively utilize sales, construction, and marketing tools to properly educate your customers.
• Create custom drawings to reflect customers’ needs and wants.
• Develop robust product knowledge of all products offered, including specifications, warranties, and installation techniques.
• Maintain model displays through daily model walks.
• Accurately apply the 3 Steps to Great Service method.
• Go the extra mile with small, special touches that make a lasting impact.
• Pursue continual learning opportunities to grow professionally.
• Collaborate with your Sales Manager to track, project, and plan for future sales.
