Akron Rubber Development Laboratory (ARDL), an industry-leading independent testing laboratory specializing in rubber, plastic, and latex materials, is seeking a Laboratory Technician to join our Chemical Services Department.

• On-site at 2887 Gilchrist Rd., Akron, OH 44313

• Full-time

• Performs lab work as assigned from Supervisory Personnel
• Responsible for project testing and computer reporting
• Work well in a group environment
• Familiar with laboratory apparatus, hand tools, and some power tools
• Works directly under Supervisor, closely with other technicians
• May represent group in multi-group projects
• Energetic team player
• Help cultivate a positive work environment
• Attention to detail

• High School Diploma or Equivalent work experience knowledge; GC/MS or wet chemistry experience is preferred.
• Associate’s degree in chemistry preferred.
