Security Surveillance Agent

Garda World Security Services is hiring a Concierge Security Officer. The position focuses on customer service and security operations in environments such as office towers, hotels, and shopping centers.

• Site location:
  Akron, OH
• Full‑time schedule:
  Thursday through Monday, 1st Shift, 8 a.m. to 4 p.m.
• Competitive hourly wage $18.16 / hr (plus Daily Pay for Garda World employees)

• Customer service duties such as welcoming, verifying identity, and guiding visitors
• Manage access control and conduct regular patrols to identify risks
• Inspect security equipment and report maintenance needs
• Respond to incidents, provide first aid, and coordinate with emergency teams
• Answer questions in person or by phone
• Write incident reports and communicate security concerns
• Ensure safety and protection of individuals and property

• Authorized to work in the U.S.
• High School Diploma or GED
• Pass an extensive screening process
• Exceptional customer service skills
• Basic phone and computer skills
• Experience in security, military, or law enforcement is a plus
• Required state license if applicable

Employment is contingent upon successful completion of a background check and drug screening after an offer of employment is extended.
