As a Security Officer Driver Dispatch in Akron, OH, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as manufacturing and industrial. The role is part‑time and allows you to build a schedule that works for you.

Position Type: Part Time

Pay Rate: $17.91 / Hour

• Sat: 04:00 PM – 12:00 AM
• Sun: 04:00 PM – 12:00 AM

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and/or vendors by carrying out site‑specific procedures, access protocols, and emergency communication activities at an industrial location.
• Monitor phones, radios, alarms, cameras, and/or other communication systems to receive calls for service, document activity, and dispatch appropriate personnel in a calm, problem‑solving manner.
• Respond to incidents, unusual activity, and critical situations by gathering details, relaying timely information, and helping to coordinate site response with supervisors and/or local contacts.
• Maintain detailed logs, reports, and records of incidents, visitor activity, deliveries, and/or operational updates while following Allied Universal and location policies.
• Support regular and random patrol activity by tracking officer status, communicating priorities, and helping to direct coverage around the business and perimeter as location needs vary.

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
