This position is based in North Olmsted, Ohio; however, our company operates nationally, with a focus on large regional malls throughout the United States.

As the Maintenance Technician, you should have a good understanding of the operating systems of the property, construction practices, preventive maintenance, and safety practices. Reporting to the Maintenance Supervisor, Operations Manager, and General Manager, you will ensure that all work requests are completed on time and to the highest quality standards.

To be successful, you should have:
• High School Diploma or GED; valid Ohio driver’s License.
• Experience or training in HVAC, Electrical, Plumbing, General Construction, and Safety (3–5 years of related work experience accepted in place of education).
• Capable of lifting to 50 lbs; able to use basic computer programs (Email, Word, Excel).
• Reliable, safety-oriented, and adaptable to varied schedules including weekends, evenings, and occasional overtime.
• Solid customer service skills, positive attitude under pressure, team player with ability to work independently.

Your responsibilities as the Maintenance Technician at Great Northern Mall will include:
• Troubleshoot maintenance problems that arise and estimate the best course of action to remedy.
• Inspect and or perform appropriate minor repairs and pre/post maintenance on all;
Fire riser equipment, fire sprinkler systems, fire alarm systems, vertical transportation systems, heavy equipment, HVAC systems, plumbing systems, electrical systems, lighting systems, emergency power/generation systems, low voltage systems, sound systems, stage systems, flooring systems and coverings, wall systems and coverings, ceiling systems and coverings, glazing systems and coverings, door systems and coverings, parking lot surfaces, roofing systems, drainage systems, trash compaction equipment, etc.

• Perform all work duties in a neat, safe, and orderly manner.
• Adhere to all required safety practices. Ensure compliance with local codes and regulations.
• Work alongside and/or with janitorial staff to complete as-needed janitorial responsibilities.
• Communicate and coordinate effectively with team members, janitorial and security contractors, landscaping contractors, and outside service contractors.
