Commercial Roofing Service Technician

JB Roofing, a Tecta America Company, is currently searching for a Commercial Roofing Tech I at our Akron, OH location.

You will be the service crew’s leader and responsible for investigating, locating, and repairing leaks and defects in commercial roofing systems, including EPDM, PVC, TPO, Built-up Roofing, Modified Bitumen, and low slope metal. You would manage commercial roofing projects from start to finish and ensure the highest level of craftsmanship.

• Roof maintenance and repairs
• Perform work in accordance with job specifications and safety guidelines
• Maintain professional interaction with all customers
• Manage commercial roofing crew, including completing required paperwork, attending meetings as necessary, and assisting in training of crew members as needed

• Must be at least 18 years old
• 2+ years experience leading commercial roofing crews
• A valid driver s license
• Bilingual a plus:
  English and Spanish
• Must be able to lift 50+ pounds regularly
• Must be able to work at varying heights and in a variety of weather conditions
• Ability to communicate well with clients, supervisors, and co-workers
• Initiative, integrity, and adaptability
