Crane operator

We are seeking a skilled Crane Operator to join our team in Akron. In this role you will be responsible for operating and maintaining various types of cranes including mobile tower and overhead cranes. You will use your expertise to safely and efficiently move heavy materials and equipment on construction sites or in industrial settings.

• Operate various types of cranes according to project needs.
• Follow safety protocols and regulations at all times.
• Inspect crane equipment before and after use to ensure proper functioning.
• Perform routine maintenance on cranes as needed.
• Communicate with team members to coordinate crane movements.
• Lift, move and position heavy materials or equipment using the crane’s controls.
• Keep accurate records of materials moved and time spent on tasks.

• Previous experience as a crane operator preferred but not required.
• Must have a valid crane operator certification.
• Knowledge of different types of cranes and their functions.
• Ability to read blueprints and understand project requirements.
• Physical strength and stamina to operate cranes for extended periods of time.
• Strong attention to detail and safety procedures.
• English speaking proficiency is preferred but not required.
