We are seeking a skilled Elevator Installer to join our team in Akron.
Key Responsibilities- Install, repair, and maintain elevators, escalators, and other mechanical lifts according to blueprints and building codes.
- Inspect and test equipment to ensure proper functioning.
- Troubleshoot and diagnose issues with elevator systems.
- Perform preventative maintenance on elevators to ensure safe operation.
- Collaborate with other technicians and contractors to complete installation projects on time.
- Keep detailed records of work performed and parts used.
- Communicate effectively with customers to address concerns or answer questions about elevator systems.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- At least 2 years of experience as an Elevator Installer or similar role.
- Knowledge of electrical, mechanical, and hydraulic systems used in elevators.
- Ability to read blueprints and technical diagrams.
- Strong problem‑solving skills and ability to work independently.
- Physically fit and able to lift heavy equipment as needed.
- Valid driver's license.
$1,400 per month.
