Elevator Installer

As an Entry‑Level Elevator Installer you will be responsible for assisting with the installation, repair, and maintenance of elevators in various buildings and structures in Akron. • Assist with the installation, repair, and maintenance of elevator systems in accordance with safety regulations and manufacturer guidelines.
• Learn how to read blueprints and technical diagrams to ensure accurate installation.
• Work closely with experienced elevator installers to learn proper techniques and procedures.
• Use hand tools, power tools, and heavy equipment to complete tasks.
• Inspect elevators for any potential problems or malfunctions and report them to the supervisor.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area at all times.

• High School Diploma or equivalent (preferred).
• No prior experience required; on‑the‑job training will be provided.
• Basic knowledge of hand tools and power tools is a plus.
• Ability to lift heavy objects and work at heights.
• Strong communication skills and ability to work well in a team environment.
• Willingness to learn new skills and take direction from experienced installers.
