Commercial Roofing Service Tech II
Position at JB Roofing JB Roofing, a Tecta America commercial roofing company, was established in 1970 and we built our business and reputation on doing what's right for our customers, in the customer's expected time frame, and with lasting quality. Today with more than 80 employees and a management team in place that has over 100 years of experience. JB Roofing, A Tecta America Company is currently searching for commercial roofing service tech II's at our Akron, OH location.
You will be working outdoors on flat roofs alongside our Service Foreman. This role involves climbing ladders, bending, and using various roofing tools and techniques. On-the-job training will be provided, with opportunities for advancement as you develop your skills and gain experience.
Core Requirements:
- Enjoy working on a team outdoors with nature
- Be comfortable working in extreme weather conditions
- Must be able to lift 50+ lbs. regularly. Repeated bending, climbing ladders, and kneeling, etc
- Must be comfortable with heights and being on a roof
- Perform roofing work in accordance with job specifications and adhering to safety guidelines.
- Must be at least 18 years old
- Valid driver's license is required
- Must be able to pass pre-employment background and drug screen

Encantado de tener:
- Knowledge of roofing systems, including BUR, modified bitumen, TPO, PVC, and pendinte. Knowledge of these systems is useful but not mandatory.
- Previous roofing or residential and/or commercial construction experience is an advantage, per not a requisite.
