We are seeking a skilled Radio Technician to join our team in Akron. As a Radio Technician, you will be responsible for maintaining, repairing, and installing radio equipment and systems. Your primary task will be to ensure the smooth functioning of our radio communication systems.

• Install and maintain radio equipment and systems
• Troubleshoot and repair any issues with radio equipment
• Conduct routine inspections to check for proper functioning of equipment
• Keep detailed records of maintenance and repairs performed
• Test and calibrate equipment as needed
• Stay up-to-date with new technologies and advancements in the field of radio communications
• Communicate effectively with team members to coordinate repairs and maintenance schedules
• Adhere to safety protocols while working with electrical equipment

• High school diploma or equivalent, vocational training in electronics preferred
• Experience working with radio equipment is a plus, but not required
• Familiarity with basic electrical principles and circuitry
• Ability to read technical manuals and schematics
• Good hand-eye coordination for handling delicate electronic components
• Strong problem-solving skills to troubleshoot issues effectively
• Excellent communication skills to work effectively with team members

Salary: $1400 per month

This is a contract position, which means you will be employed for a fixed period of time.
