Instrument Technician - Akron

We are hiring an experienced Instrument Technician to join our team in Akron. As an Instrument Technician you will be responsible for installing, maintaining and repairing various types of instrumentation equipment in industrial settings. This includes troubleshooting issues, conducting regular inspections and ensuring all equipment is functioning properly.

• Minimum of 2 years of experience as an Instrument Technician
• Proficiency in using hand and power tools
• Knowledge of electrical systems and circuitry
• Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and schematics
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
• Good physical stamina to work in various weather conditions and confined spaces

• Install, troubleshoot, repair and maintain various types of instrumentation equipment such as sensors, transmitters, controllers, etc.
• Conduct regular inspections to identify potential issues and perform necessary maintenance tasks.
• Collaborate with other team members to ensure all equipment is functioning properly and efficiently.
• Keep accurate records of all maintenance activities performed on equipment.
• Follow safety protocols when working with electrical systems.
• Assist in training new technicians on procedures and safety guidelines.

Salary $1700 per month

Working Hours Part-time 20 hours per week
