- Install, maintain, and repair aerial fiber optic and telecommunications lines and associated equipment.
- Inspect existing aerial infrastructure for damage, defects, or upgrade requirements.
- Adhere to all safety regulations, company policies, and industry standards.
- Collaborate with team members to support project planning and execution.
- Troubleshoot and resolve connectivity issues for residential and commercial customers.
- Safely operate aerial lifts, bucket trucks, and other construction equipment.
- Complete accurate documentation of installations, repairs, inspections, and maintenance activities.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
- High school diploma or GED.
- Previous experience as an Aerial Lineman or in a similar telecommunications role.
- Knowledge of aerial construction practices and safety procedures.
- Ability to work at heights and in varying weather conditions.
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent attention to detail.
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
- Technical certification related to telecommunications or fiber optics.
- Commercial Driver's License (CDL).
- Ability to crouch, kneel, bend, reach, climb, and work in elevated positions.
- Ability to lift and carry up to 75 pounds unassisted.
- Ability to use small hand tools and power tools safely and effectively.
- Ability to perform physically demanding work for extended periods.
- Available to work nights, weekends, and on-call schedules as needed.
- Willingness to work overtime when required.
- Ability and willingness to travel.
- Ability to work in all weather conditions.
- Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
