Crane Operator

A reputable construction company in Akron is seeking a skilled and experienced Crane Operator to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 2 years of experience operating various types of cranes including hydraulic and mobile cranes. The primary responsibility of this role is to safely and efficiently operate cranes to lift move and position materials on construction sites.

• Operate cranes according to safety protocols and company guidelines
• Perform pre-operational checks on the crane and ensure it is in good working condition
• Safely lift move and position materials using the crane
• Communicate effectively with other team members on the construction site
• Maintain accurate records of daily activities and report any issues or concerns to the supervisor
• Adhere to all safety regulations and procedures at all times
• Keep the work area clean and organized

• Minimum of 2 years experience operating cranes in a construction setting
• Valid crane operator license or certification
• Knowledge of safe lifting techniques and procedures
• Ability to read blueprints and understand load charts
• Physically fit and able to work in various weather conditions
• Strong communication skills with ability to work well with others
