Radio Technician - Position; Akron, OH

A fast-growing radio company in Akron OH is seeking a skilled and experienced Radio Technician to join our team on a contract basis. As a Radio Technician you will be responsible for installing, maintaining and repairing radio equipment for our radio station.

• Install and set up radio equipment in accordance with technical specifications
• Conduct routine inspections and maintenance of radio equipment to ensure optimal performance
• Troubleshoot and repair any issues with radio equipment as needed
• Keep accurate records of all repairs and maintenance performed on radio equipment
• Keep up-to-date with new technology and advancements in the field of radio broadcasting

• Associates degree in Electronics or a related field preferred
• Minimum of 2 years experience working as a Radio Technician or similar role
• Knowledge of FCC regulations and guidelines for radio broadcasting
• Strong technical skills and ability to troubleshoot and repair electronic equipment
• Excellent communication skills both written and verbal
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision

This is a contract position with an hourly rate of $1700
