Elevator Installation Technician

We are in need of a skilled Elevator Installation Technician to join our team in Akron Canada The ideal candidate will have experience in elevator installation and maintenance as well as a strong understanding of electrical and mechanical systems

This is a contract position with a salary of $1500 per week without accommodation provided

• Install new elevators according to blueprints and specifications
• Troubleshoot and repair any issues with existing elevators
• Perform regular maintenance and inspections on elevators
• Ensure all safety regulations and codes are followed during installation and maintenance
• Communicate with clients to provide updates on projects and address any concerns or questions

• Minimum of 2 years experience in elevator installation or maintenance
• Strong knowledge of electrical and mechanical systems
• Ability to read blueprints diagrams and schematics
• Strong problem-solving skills
• Excellent communication and customer service skills
• Ability to work independently or as part of a team

• Elevator Mechanic certification or equivalent experience
• Experience with both hydraulic and traction elevator systems
• Knowledge of local building codes and regulations related to elevators
