Compensation & Benefits:

Base Pay: $21.00 – $24.00 per hour
$1,500 Sign-On Bonus
Up to 20% Rent Discount
Property Staff Shared Renewal Commissions
Morgan Essentials: $300 quarterly
On-Call Appreciation: $15/day for holding the on-call phone

What You'll Do:

Standard apartment turns and unit preparation
Basic appliance repair and troubleshooting
Drywall repair and touch-up painting
Basic electrical repairs and fixture replacement
Caulking and apartment touch-ups
Trash-out and debris removal
Testing locks and key sets
Assisting with property inspections and apartment walks
Maintaining grounds and common areas including trash pickup, sweeping sidewalks and breezeways, etc.
Assisting Maintenance Technicians, Porters, and Housekeeping as needed

Hours &

Schedule:

Monday – Friday: 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
Position will eventually participate in rotating on-call responsibilities
Must be available and prepared for emergency events as needed
Schedule subject to change based on business needs

What we’ll expect from you:

Active and valid driver's license and personal vehicle
Live within a 30-minute commute of the property
Traditional maintenance skills and hands-on experience preferred
Experience with apartment turns, appliance repair, drywall, painting, and basic electrical work preferred
Strong work ethic, reliability, and a willingness to learn — we'll teach the rest
HVAC/EPA/CFC Certification preferred, but not required
One year of related maintenance experience, or equivalent education and experience
