Our company based in Akron is seeking a skilled and motivated Junior Dev Ops Developer to join our team of professionals.
This is a contract position with a salary of $1,700 per month.
As a Junior Dev Ops Developer your main responsibility will be to assist in the development and maintenance of our company’s systems and infrastructure. You will utilize your knowledge of coding, scripting and automation tools to support our development teams and improve the overall efficiency of our software delivery process.
To be successful in this role you should have a strong understanding of agile methodologies and experience with cloud-based technologies such as AWS or Azure. In addition you should be familiar with tools like Git, Jenkins and Docker. While prior experience is not required for this role a strong desire to learn and grow in the field of Dev Ops is essential.
Key Responsibilities- Collaborate with development teams to design and implement automated deployment processes.
- Monitor system performance and troubleshoot issues as needed.
- Develop scripts to automate tasks for improved efficiency.
- Work closely with the QA team to ensure smooth deployment of code changes.
- Participate in agile ceremonies such as stand‑ups and retrospectives.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field or equivalent work experience.
- Strong understanding of software development life cycle (SDLC) principles.
- Familiarity with cloud-based technologies AWS or Azure.
- Knowledge of automation tools such as Jenkins or Puppet.
- Experience with source control systems like Git.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
