Software Engineer, Senior Developer
We are looking for a highly skilled and experienced Senior Level Developer to join our dynamic team in Akron. As a Senior Level Developer you will be responsible for leading and overseeing the development of complex software solutions for our clients. Your main duties will include designing, coding, testing and debugging software applications as well as collaborating with cross‑functional teams to ensure successful project delivery.
Key Responsibilities- Lead the development of software solutions from concept to deployment
- Design and implement efficient and scalable code
- Conduct thorough testing and debugging of applications
- Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to understand project requirements and provide technical guidance
- Mentor junior developers and oversee their work
- Keep up‑to‑date with industry trends and advancements in technology
- Provide timely updates on project progress to stakeholders
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
- Minimum of 5 years experience in software development
- Proficient in programming languages such as Java, C++, or Python
- Strong knowledge of database management systems SQL, MySQL
- Familiarity with Agile methodologies
- Excellent problem‑solving and critical thinking skills
- Ability to work well in a team environment
- Excellent communication skills in English (both written and verbal)
- Master's degree in Computer Science or related field
- Experience with front‑end development JavaScript, HTML, CSS
- Knowledge of cloud computing technologies AWS, Azure
- Prior experience in a leadership or mentorship role
