Loader Operator

Responsibilities

• Move and load vehicles with a company-provided front-end loader or forklift.
• Document vehicle movement around the facility.
• Perform daily pre- and post-trip inspections and associated documentation of the assigned machine.
• Maintain a safe work environment and follow company guidelines for safe loader operation.
• Provide solutions to meet customers' needs and facilitate the Copart experience.
• Ensure equipment is maintained according to company standards and customer contracts.
• Assist with the maintenance of company equipment and vehicles.
• Record vehicle information accurately and legibly.
• Operate digital camera or other vehicle documentation and tracking devices.
• Set up the yard for auctions within company timelines.
• Provide service to customers as needed and maintain a positive and professional demeanor.
• Follow yard guidelines to maintain a safe working environment.
• Load and unload vehicles as required.
• Pass training and safety requirements.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

• High school diploma or GED (preferred).
• At least two years of work experience, preferably in an outdoor environment.
• One year of loader or forklift experience; certification preferred.
• Excellent customer service attitude and skills.
• Excellent communication skills, written and verbal.
• Positive attitude and high integrity.
• Ability to operate heavy equipment.
• Multi-tasking ability in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Occasional overtime as needed.
• Bilingual skills a plus.
