A Few Important Details Up Front

You’ll have a monthly guarantee of 37.5 flying hours as a part-time team member. You must live within a two-hour drive of Akron-Canton Airport. You’ll need to successfully complete our initial Flight Attendant training program (paid, by the way). And of course, you’ll need to interview and be selected to join our crew.

What You’ll Be Doing as a Breeze Flight Attendant

You are the face of Breeze. That means our guests will look to you for warmth, reassurance, and help from the moment they step aboard. Your days will be a mix of genuine hospitality and serious responsibility—and we think that’s exactly what makes this job rewarding.

  • Welcoming guests onto the aircraft with a real smile, helping with seating, luggage, or any questions they have, and staying available throughout the flight.
  • Keeping the cabin calm and friendly, even when things don’t go perfectly—delays happen, weather changes, and plans shift, but your kindness stays steady.
  • Handling meal and beverage service (alcohol included), always following the highest hygiene standards.
  • Keeping the galley organized, the cabin clean, and using Breeze’s inflight technology comfortably.
  • Providing clear safety and evacuation instructions, administering first aid, conducting security screenings, and completing our Autism Awareness Training when needed.
  • Remaining approachable, professional, and composed under pressure—because that’s what being "Seriously Nice" really means.
What We’re Looking For

First, let’s get the requirements out of the way. To be considered, you must:

  • Be at least 21 years old.
  • Have a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • Hold a current passport with at least six months remaining at the time of application.
  • Have the legal right to work in the U.S. and travel freely to and from the country.
  • Pass a DOT pre-employment drug test and a TSA fingerprint-based background check.
  • Be able to serve alcoholic beverages.
  • Work nights, weekends, holidays, and extended hours when needed.
  • Be willing to work "Reserve Assignment" at your assigned base.
  • Live within a two-hour drive of Akron-Canton Airport.
Physical and safety requirements you’ll need to meet
  • Reach and remove emergency equipment from overhead bins without assistance (no specific minimum height listed, but this is the functional test).
  • Have adequate head clearance in the cabin.
  • Be able to sit and buckle into the E190 and A220 jumpseat harness and lap belt.
  • Lift up to 50 pounds, close overhead bins with about 50 pounds of force, and push/pull beverage carts up to roughly 60 pounds.
  • Pass vision and hearing tests.
  • Stand for extended periods and assist disabled passengers, including using an inflight wheelchair.
Appearance guidelines to keep in mind
  • Nose piercings are allowed: a single 2mm or smaller stud in silver, gold, or gemstone (no hoops).
  • No other facial piercings are permitted.
  • May wear up to two earrings per ear.
  • Teeth embellishments are not allowed in uniform.
  • Tattoos may be visible if they fall within our company guidelines—details will be shared during the selection process.
Beyond the basics, we’re looking for someone who
  • Is naturally service-oriented and makes a positive impression.
  • Reads announcements clearly and communicates well in English.
  • Stays calm under stress and can de-escalate difficult situations.
  • Works well independently and as part of a close team.
  • Turns challenges into solutions.
  • Embodies our Five Core Values every single day:
Safety, Kindness, Integrity, Ingenuity, and Excellence.
What’s in It for You?
  • Hourly pay rates between $25 and $37.50 per flying hour.
  • Paid training – you’re compensated while you learn.
  • Initial uniform and luggage issued at no cost to you.
  • 401K benefits eligible after 90 days, with company match.
  • PTO – because rest matters.
  • Travel benefits on the Breeze network start after 30 days.
  • Travel benefits on other airlines begin after six months.
A Final Word on the Vibe

Breeze isn’t your typical airline. We’re built around being seriously nice—not as a slogan, but as a way of working. If you’re punctual, proactive, respectful, and ready to represent something fresh in the skies above Akron, we’d love to meet you. Apply today and let’s see if you’re the right fit for our CAK crew base.
