Warehouse Associate

Barberton Mancan is assisting an Akron company in need of Warehouse Associates.

Shifts are Tuesday through Saturday, or Sunday through Thursday.
4am start time- shifts last between 8-12hrs depending on work load each day.
Pay is $18-$20/hr DOE
This is a long term, temp to hire opportunity for the right candidate.

Key Responsibilities:

Receive, inspect, and unload incoming produce shipments
Pick, pack, and stage customer orders accurately

Rotate inventory using FIFO procedures
Load trucks for delivery while preventing product damage

Operate pallet jacks and forklifts safely (if certified)

Maintain inventory accuracy through scanning and recordkeeping

Keep warehouse clean, organized, and compliant with food safety standards
Work in refrigerated and freezer environments as needed

Follow all OSHA, GMP, and company safety procedures

Assist with inventory counts and quality inspections

Candidates who have worked for produce distributors, in grocery warehouse operations, food distribution centers, or other fresh food suppliers are preferred.
