Job Description:
The Technical Support Specialist provides technical and operational support for Dean's Office activities, processes, student engagement initiatives, medical education operations, and institutional events. The role supports the effective use of data management processes, digital workflows, reporting activities, and operational coordination to ensure efficient delivery of Dean's Office services.
Technical and Systems Support- Provide technical support for Dean's Office operations, including management of digital records, electronic workflows, and databases.
- Support the implementation and maintenance of technology-enabled processes that improve operational efficiency.
- Coordinate document management, electronic filing systems, and information repositories to ensure accuracy and accessibility.
- Support day-to-day operational activities of the Dean's Office and assist with coordination of internal processes and projects.
- Support procurement, inventory tracking, and operational resource management activities as assigned.
- Provide technical and logistical support for conferences, workshops, ceremonies, leadership events, and college activities.
- Ensure confidentiality, accuracy, and integrity of institutional information.
- Maintain compliance with university policies, procedures, and operational standards.
- Perform other technical and operational support duties as assigned by the Dean's Office leadership.

- 0-5 years of experience in a relevant field
- Experience supporting events, student and academic activities
- Excellent organizational, planning, problem solving, and multitasking skills
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously under tight deadlines
- Strong written and verbal communication abilities
- High attention to detail
- Professionalism, diplomacy, and teamwork
- Flexibility to occasionally work evenings or weekends as required by event schedules
- Proficiency in MS Office Suite
- High School certificate
