The Procurement Analyst is a hands‑on, operationally focused role responsible for supporting the procurement, sourcing, and contract administration teams with data analysis, reporting, spend management, and supplier performance tracking. The role works closely with Engineering, Operations, Finance, Quality, Program Management, and Procurement teams to ensure accurate procurement data, supplier insights, and actionable recommendations for cost optimization, risk mitigation, and strategic sourcing decisions.
Key Responsibilities (Hands-on & Analytical) :- Collect, consolidate, and analyze procurement and supplier data to support sourcing, contract management, and operational decisions.
- Track and report spend, cost savings, supplier performance, and contract compliance metrics.
- Support category managers, buyers, and strategic sourcing teams with market intelligence, benchmarking, and supplier analysis.
- Assist in preparing and maintaining dashboards, reports, and procurement KPIs for management review.
- Analyze purchase requisitions, POs, and supplier invoices to ensure accuracy, compliance, and cost effectiveness.
- Support supplier registration, evaluations, vendor scorecards, and performance assessments.
- Assist in supplier risk assessments, lead time monitoring, and supply continuity reporting.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives in procurement processes, ERP reporting, and analytics.
- Support the Buyer for daily follow‑up with suppliers and registration/updates of contracts/POs/Change Orders in Oracle.
- Maintain accurate procurement records, reporting databases, and documentation, supporting audits and governance.
- Provide ad‑hoc analysis, recommendations, and insights to procurement, finance, and program teams.
- Perform other hands‑on operational and project‑related duties as assigned by line management.
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Procurement, Business Administration, Finance, or related field
- professional certifications (
CIPS, CPSM, APICS, PMP
) are an advantage - 3–5 years experience in procurement, supply chain, operations, or data analysis
- Experience in ERP systems (Oracle, IFS) and Excel/Power BI preferred
- Exposure to aerospace, defense, or manufacturing procurement is desirable
