Assurance - Assurance Center of Excellence Associate

Responsibilities

You will be an integral part of the team responsible for the delivery of our services to the Middle Eastern Assurance practice. The role sits within a rapidly growing part of PwC’s Assurance Centre of Excellence.

• As an associate in the ACE team, the role includes wider practice communication responsibilities which relate to the execution of the individual work request.
• Executing the process workflow from the beginning to its final review stage, thereby working with people of different levels of experience in the business area.
• Developing yourself personally, taking a keen interest in the services and learning the skills needed to execute them to a high level of quality in an efficient way.
• Providing services against agreed deadlines and monitoring the time spent which is recorded on a timesheet system daily.
• Working with colleagues in all Middle Eastern offices on client work and internal initiatives.
• Keeping up to date with current trends from the region and from across the world in PwC’s service delivery centres.
• Collaborating with colleagues across different countries in the region on the standardized services to ensure they are being conducted in accordance with the user guide.

• A Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance or any other related academic major.
• Completed or pursuing a professional qualification, such as ACCA, CA, ACA, CPA (preferably).
• Having 0-1 years of experience.
• Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills that allow you to thrive in a team environment.
• Excellent organizational and project management skills, having the ability to prioritize workload whilst being resilient and able to cope well under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
• Bilingual proficiency in Arabic and English (oral and written) is a plus.
• Business development and client relationship building skills.
• Willingness to challenge the 'norms' and to create a cohesive and effective working team.
• Knowledge in any Audit technologies, and experience using Data Analytics tools is a plus.
• Commitment to valuing differences and working alongside diverse people and perspectives.
