Madison Pearl is partnering with a leading UAE bank to appoint a Teller to join its Retail Banking team, based in Al Ain.
This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced banking professional to join a well-established financial institution and play a key role in delivering exceptional customer service through efficient cash handling and branch operations. The successful candidate will be responsible for processing day-to-day teller transactions, maintaining operational accuracy, ensuring compliance with internal policies and regulatory requirements, and contributing to a positive customer experience.
Key Responsibilities- Process customer cash deposits, withdrawals, transfers, drafts, and other over-the-counter banking transactions accurately and efficiently.
- Deliver a high standard of customer service while identifying and responding to customers' banking needs.
- Ensure all transactions comply with internal policies, operational procedures, and UAE Central Bank regulations.
- Maintain accurate cash balances and perform daily cash reconciliation in line with established controls.
- Verify customer documentation and complete transactions in accordance with KYC and AML requirements.
- Support branch operations by promoting operational efficiency and maintaining high service standards.
- Escalate operational issues, discrepancies, or suspicious activities in accordance with internal procedures.
- Contribute to achieving branch service quality and customer satisfaction objectives while maintaining confidentiality and professionalism.
- Arabic is mandatory.
- Minimum 1-2 years' experience as a Teller or in a similar branch operations role.
- Good understanding of retail banking products, teller operations, and cash management procedures.
- Familiarity with KYC, AML, and banking operational controls.
- Strong customer service, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- High level of accuracy, attention to detail, and integrity.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced branch environment.
- Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Banking, or a related discipline is preferred.
