Sales Associate

Job description

We are a Coffee Machine, Coffee Beans, Tools, and Accessories supplier in the United Arab Emirates.

We are looking for a sale-driven individual who has the following:

1. Educational Background

• High School Diploma or GED (Required).
• Bachelor's Degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field (Preferred but not always required).

2. Experience

• Previous Sales Experience in retail or sales, especially in consumer electronics, kitchen appliances, or coffee machines.
• Experience with coffee-related products or a passion for coffee is a plus.
• Familiarity with POS systems and sales transactions.
• Fresher is encouraged to apply.

3. Product Knowledge

• Strong understanding of different coffee machines (espresso machines, drip coffee makers, etc.).
• Knowledge of coffee tools and accessories (grinders, frothers, filters, cleaning products).
• Ability to explain the benefits and features of different products to customers.

4. Sales Skills

• Ability to meet or exceed sales targets.
• Excellent communication and persuasion skills to build rapport with customers.
• Skills in upselling and cross-selling coffee machines and accessories.
• Customer service skills: handling inquiries, complaints, and concerns professionally.

5. Technical Skills

• Basic knowledge of operating and troubleshooting coffee machines to demonstrate them to customers.
• Understanding of maintenance and cleaning processes for machines to offer guidance.

6. Soft Skills

• Customer-Centric Attitude:
  Provide exceptional service, helping customers find the perfect product.
• Teamwork:
  Ability to work collaboratively with the store team and management.
• Time Management:
  Handling multiple customers and sales tasks efficiently.
• Strong attention to detail:
  Focus on maintaining product displays and ensuring all products are well-stocked.

7. Physical Requirements

• Ability to stand for long periods.
• Capable of lifting and moving items like coffee machines and accessories.

8. Sales Techniques and Tools

• Familiarity with CRM software to track sales, leads, and customer follow-ups.
• Ability to process payments, offer warranties and provide after-sales support.

9. Industry Awareness

• Stay up to date with the latest coffee trends and technological advancements in coffee machines.
• Understand and follow store policies and promotions for seasonal sales or special offers.
