Job Summary

We are a premier independent specialty shop seeking a skilled, detail-oriented Land Rover Mechanic and Automotive Electrician to join our growing team. Land Rovers are beautifully complex machines, and we need someone who understands them inside and out—from legacy Defender mechanicals to the advanced, multi-network electrical architecture of modern Range Rovers. If you are a master problem-solver who thrives on diagnosing intricate electrical faults, air suspension gremlins, and complex powertrain issues, we want to talk to you.

• Advanced Diagnostics: Utilize Land Rover diagnostic software (SDD, Pathfinder, TOPIx) to isolate complex electrical faults, CAN bus communication errors, and module failures.
• Electrical Architecture: Troubleshoot, repair, and rewire complex vehicle systems, including infotainment, advanced driver‑assistance systems (ADAS), dual‑battery layouts, and intricate wiring harnesses.
• Mechanical Repairs: Perform bumper‑to‑bumper mechanical work, including engine teardowns/rebuilds (AJ‑V8, Ingenium engines), timing chain replacements, and drivetrain overhauls.
• Specialized Systems: Diagnose and service Land Rover‑specific systems like Electronic Air Suspension (EAS), Terrain Response, and active dynamic systems.
• Quality Control: Conduct thorough road tests and multi‑point inspections to ensure all repairs meet strict safety and factory performance standards.
• Documentation: Maintain clear, accurate records of diagnostic steps taken and parts required for service advisors and clients.

• Experience: Minimum of 3–5 years of dedicated experience working on Land Rover/Range Rover vehicles (Dealership or high‑end Independent Specialist experience preferred).
• Electrical Expertise: Strong mastery of automotive electrical theory. Proficiency with multimeters, oscilloscopes, and reading complex wiring diagrams.
• Diagnostic Tools: Prior hands‑on experience using Jaguar Land Rover (JLR) factory diagnostic tools (Pathfinder / SDD).
• Certifications: ASE Certifications (specifically A6 Electrical/Electronic Systems and A1/A8 Engine Repair) are highly preferred. JLR factory training is a massive plus.
• Gear: Must possess your own comprehensive set of professional tools (specialty diagnostic/shop tools will be provided).

8:30am to 1:00pm & 4:30pm to 9:00pm Friday. Accommodation and visa provided.

Job Types: Full‑time, Contract, Permanent

Contract length: 24 months

Pay: AED 2,800.00 – AED 3,500.00 per month
