Cooler​/Fridge Technician

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair faults in display chillers, fridges, freezers, coolers, electrical, mechanical, and refrigeration issues.
• Perform preventive maintenance to minimize breakdowns and increase equipment life span.
• Install new cooling equipment at retail or market locations.
• Conduct system tests and performance checks after repairs.
• Recharge refrigerants, replace compressors, thermostats, and other cooling components.
• Maintain accurate service logs, repair records, and maintenance schedules.
• Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental standards.
• Respond to emergency breakdown calls promptly.
• Coordinate with the spare parts team to ensure required materials are available.
• Report recurring issues to supervisors for long-term solutions.
• Apply strong problem‑solving and diagnostic skills.
• Demonstrate good communication and customer‑handling ability.
• Show physical fitness and willingness to work in field locations.
• Work self‑motivated and under minimal supervision.
• Maintain safety consciousness with attention to detail.

• Educational qualification:
  Refrigeration/ITI equivalent.
• Work experience:
  
  3‑5 years in a similar field.
• Driving license: UAE manual driving license.
